So, lots of exciting things have been happening.

Our time in Jaco, Costa Rica has come to an end. Goodbyes have been said and tears have been shed. Jaco will forever hold a very special place in my heart. (check out this link to see all of my photos from the last 2 months (coming soon- what can I say I take a lot of pictures))

We have been in San Jose, Costa Rica for about a week now and are preparing to leave for Guatemala in 2 days. This last week has been spent catching up with the rest of our Squad that was placed in northern Costa Rica (check out this video for a look into their daily lives: https://fb.watch/3URbwsLjcP/) and just taking time to rest and reflect on all that I experienced the last 2 months.

Also, I am crazy far behind on sharing blogs. There were several blogs I had intended to write the last few weeks about all the little moments and experiences in the day-to-day of Jaco. But time disappeared and I kind of forgot the meat of a few of the topics. I’ve got a little bit of each topic with a little moment and memory attached to each. I’m still trying to decide if I want to finish and share them. I may share them if I feel the time is right to pull those memories again. But, going into a new country I don’t want to get trapped by only writing from the past and not staying in the moment.

I’ve got stories on: Abandonment, Ministry days at INVU, Night Swimming, Surf days, & Wrestling God.

Some of the little things I have learned: God is big, like really big, but loves me so much that He wants to know me. He has put me with an incredible group of loving and supportive people who love me enough to help me work through the hard things. Its ok to be joyful in serious moments.

Be interruptible, that’s been a big one.

AND………..

We got our placement for Guatemala!!!!!!!!

We will be in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.  We still don’t have a ton of information on what we will be doing but I’m looking forward to the next step in this journey.

Prayers for H Squad: Safety and health as we head into Guatemala (We all got COVID tested this morning).  Unity within our teams, easy adjustments in our new placements, all around protection (physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually) and just the opportunities to spread and share the love of God
