Hey y’all
Hope everybody is staying safe!!! I wanted to give you all a quick update about what is going on with Adventures in Mission (AIM) and The World Race as well as my trip later this year. I have also listed a few ways you can join me in praying in the coming weeks.
As of March 20th, the 550+ racers on the field have all been brought home safely. Praise God!!!
All the trips planned through May have been cancelled and as of March 25th, my trip has been delayed to depart in October 2020. Because of this there is also a possibility some of the countries along my route may be changing as well.
This has been such a challenging time for all of us and so many changes have had to take place. But, through all of this one thing is certain and I am sure every racer- past, present, and future- would agree, GODS GOT THIS, and His plan for all of us is far greater than we could imagine. All of this is in His timing and only His. ( I have been reminding myself of this everyday- especially since the announcement was made).
Please join me in praying for all the racers who had to leave the field mid-trip. Some teams were almost through and others had only been in the field a few months. But all went from being surrounded with community 24/7 into a 2-week quarantine and who knows how long the actual quarantine is going to last. Pray that in this time they rely on the Lord for peace and comfort as they process the sudden changes.
Pray for all the staff at Adventures to have support and encouragement during this time as they have been working non-stop to bring home racers, communicating with overseas partners and continuing to keep us as informed as possible with the constantly shifting situations around the world.
I am so grateful for all of the love and support I have already received and I cannot wait to see how the Lord uses this time for all of us!
