Welcome!

I can’t believe I’m finally here! It is truly, only by the grace of God and support of people like you that I am able to share this journey!

So a little bit about me…I am 25 years old and just graduated from Kennesaw State University in summer of 2019 with a Degree in Psychology and a minor in Crisis Preparedness (yes, this is an actual minor offered at KSU. I also have an Associates in Business Management from Lanier Tech . I was in college for about 7 years, and lets just say I’m thrilled to be done with school!

In those 7 years, I discovered my love to cook and my love of candid photography. Those unexpected faces and reactions have made some great memories. I found a deeper love of travel and reading. I love to plan and organize- sometimes a bit to much! Still love all my animals and missed being able to live with them.

My extended college career is just a testament to Gods timing and plans for our lives. Had I been given the opportunity to follow my own plans, I most certainly NOT be where I am today. These last 7 years I have been challenged and tested and ultimately brought closer to God and his will for my life.

God had been slowly incorporating The World Race in my life for the last 10 years and about 4 years ago I began to feel The World Race was where I was being called once I graduated. Once I recognized His call on my life, He began to introduce me to so many people who had been on the Race, and who have continued to support me as my time to graduate approached. Of course, I didn’t recognize when I took His plan and made it on my time, not His. I applied to be apart of the Fall 2019 team and was told… not yet… and those two words were the wake-up call that I didn’t know I needed.

This last year was full of challenges and reminders of “not yet” and learning to live in that moment of waiting and trusting God in his timing. I am so grateful for those 2 little words that now carry so much meaning to me. I got to dive deeper into His word and the community God had chosen to surround me with. This “not yet” gave me the opportunity to be apart of weddings and trips with friends and family. It also allowed me to work on my own heart and learn how to be content in each moment of the chaos that is life.

I could go on for days about all that I have learned and been taught, but for now all I’ve got is:

Fall 2020 here I come!!!!

In His timing.
